This is why we had our production site certified in accordance with strict PEFC criteria and have supplied folding rules with a PEFC seal since 2019. The seal guarantees that the wood we use comes from sustainable forestry and the woodlands are being preserved for future generations. Since 2020, we have continuously and consistently been converting our entire range of rules. Many product variants are now only available with a PEFC seal.

WHAT DOES PEFC STAND FOR?
PEFC is the abbreviation for the international "Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes".
PEFC has one objective – the global improvement of forest utilisation and management. All of the national systems base their content on the resolutions set out at the conferences that followed the Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit.

CLIMATE PROTECTION
PEFC prevents long transport routes and thus CO2 emissions. Only as many trees will be cut down as can grow again, enabling the woodland to retain its natural protective function.

The PEFC standards ensure sustainable forest management. The woodland will remain a safe habitat for animals and plants. The biodiversity and natural function of the forest is preserved.
