Good tools – Good work

Taking precise measurements is one of the most important tasks on construction sites, which is why it is crucial that professionals have tools that they can rely on at all times. Tools that enable them to carry out a variety of measurement tasks on the construction site precisely, efficiently and easily – time after time. Tools that deliver reliable results in all weathers, even under the toughest conditions, so mistakes are avoided and there is no need for expensive, time-consuming reworking further down the line. Tools that make work easier and boost productivity. STABILA provides you with tools that meet your exacting standards.

Our way to innovative tools

We are in constant dialogue with our customers, who work in a range of construction and craft trades all over the world, and this allows us to tailor and optimise our products to their specific requirements. By combining these professionals’ wealth of experience with the expertise and skill of our team – which is made up of application technology experts, developers and engineers – we are able to carry out ongoing analyses of new product ideas as well as develop, test and evaluate prototypes in close partnership with professional users. The enormous care we take in selecting materials, our compliance with the very strictest production standards, and the multiple internal quality inspections we carry out up to delivery are the keys to ensuring that the quality of our products is globally recognised and prized. It is vitally important to us that our products are practical. Changing requirements in building practice inspire and drive us to keep improving our products and developing innovations. As a result, we guarantee outstanding quality and a constant innovative edge.

Our way to innovative tools

But how did this all start?

Our company was founded in 1889, but we had already obtained our first patent three years previously for a spring-loaded joint designed for use in folding rules. This ingenious invention, which is still considered to be a state-of-the-art development even today, was the brainchild of Anton Ullrich – an inventor from the Palatinate region of Germany with an entrepreneurial spirit. In the space of just a few years, he had successfully established a major company in the small town of Annweiler. Ever since then, we here at STABILA have specialised in making measuring and aligning tools. We work tirelessly to support trade professionals with an unwavering commitment, focusing on providing innovative and application-specific solutions.
